fEeL tHe fLoW: slideshow class
Yoga is practiced many different ways in many different places. This week, I thought I would switch it up on how the practice is delivered.
The practice above is a beginner flow, designed to help one balance and ground. Flip your way through the poses, pausing, passing and modifying as necessary!
Choose your favorite Yoga music and get your flow on!
I recommend each pose be held for a minimum of 3-5 breathes.
REMINDER: Breathes should be taken in and out through the nose. Steady, deep breaths.
Easy breath practice:
Close your eyes, place one hand on your stomach.
Take a deep breath in, notice what happens with the body. Does the stomach inflate or deflate?
Take a deep breath out, notice what happens with the body. Does the stomach inflate or deflate?
Imagine a babies stomach, on the inhale the stomach should inflate. On the exhale, it should compress. If the breath is not doing this right now, that is fine. Just become conscious of the breath more often. Such as in Shavasana, or right before bed.
